Overview

WEBCHKR, operated by Sonoran Strategy Solutions, LLC ("we", "us", "our"), is a website checker tool at webchkr.com. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What We Collect

Information You Provide

When you use WEBCHKR, you enter a domain name to check. We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the tool.

Domains You Check

We log each scan to a Cloudflare D1 database. The log includes: the domain name submitted, the date and time of the check, your browser type and referring website, and high-level result metadata — the HTTP status of the target site, whether bot protection was detected, and the count of passing, failing, warning, and informational checks. This data is used for usage monitoring and service improvement. We do not connect this data to individual users or personal information.

When you submit a domain, our servers make requests to that domain to analyze its publicly available configuration. This includes checking DNS records, fetching the homepage HTML, and querying public APIs like Google PageSpeed Insights. We do not store the content of the websites you check, only the high-level result counts described above.

Automatically Collected Information

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and analytics tools process standard web traffic data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and referring websites. IP addresses are used for geolocation and security purposes by these services but are not stored by us or connected to the domains you check. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people use the tool so we can improve it. GA4 does not log or store full IP addresses.

How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

• Perform the website checks you request
• Monitor tool usage and detect abuse
• Improve and maintain the tool
• Understand usage patterns
• Diagnose technical problems

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare — Hosting, CDN, and serverless functions. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics (GA4) / Google Tag Manager — Website analytics. Analytics data may be exported to Google BigQuery for analysis. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google PageSpeed Insights API — Performance data for checked domains. See Google API Terms.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies through our analytics tools. These help us understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data Retention

Scan logs (domain, timestamp, browser type, referrer, and the high-level result counts described above) are retained for usage monitoring purposes. We do not store the content of the websites checked. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's standard retention periods.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since we collect minimal personal data and do not require accounts, there is typically no personal data to manage. If you have questions, contact us at the email below.

WEBCHKR is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
